eeCOURSES and eeCREDENTIALS

EEAI will be launching Indiana's first eeCOURSE this fall!
| eeCOURSES are high-quality, online professional learning courses that cover a wide range of topics across the field of environmental education. eeCOURSES are developed by NAAEE Affiliates and endorsed by NAAEE.

We will be kicking off Indiana's eeCOURSE offerings with Foundations in Teaching Environmental Education.
This course is designed to provide educators with the background knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement learning experiences using the best practices in environmental education. The foundations course is a great opportunity for pre-career and early career educators to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of the environmental education field and for established educators in both formal and nonformal settings to brush up on the basics. |
Students will study resources and complete activities related to five key aspects of successful environmental education. The course will culminate in a live teaching experience evaluated by an experienced EE professional. The six-week course will begin on September 20th and will include instruction in:

Meet your moderator: Jamin Bray is the Professional Development Coordinator for the Missouri Environmental Education Association (MEEA). Jamin has worked with MEEA since May 2022 and has also served as MEEA's co-director. She has moderated all of the eeCOURSES offered in Missouri, as well as courses offered in Nebraska and Arkansas. Jamin has also worked to co-create new eeCOURSES for NAAEE and the affiliate network. Before coming to MEEA, Jamin worked as an interpreter at the Midwest Science Center, for Missouri State Parks, and for the National Park Service. Jamin also has experience with formal education, having worked as a 5th - 8th grade science teacher. Jamin's passions are nature study, music and songwriting, her my family and their 156-acre farm in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.
